Financing green affordable housing requires different funding and program mechanisms. Energy efficiency, solar/PV, and green building programs range from policies that increase cash flow, to Federal Energy Efficiency Tax Credits, and program incentives, which facilitate owner/developer investments in high-performance buildings and help gain a return on that investment.
