Volunteer Registration

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at West Coast Green – your help is what makes this event possible! Volunteers receive a full conference pass in return for volunteering a complete 6 hour shift. Due to space limitations, access to the Al Gore presentation will not be included with volunteer passes, but there will be a live simulcast on the trade show floor.

It is extremely important that volunteers arrive 15 minutes prior to the shift. If a volunteer arrives late, the position will not be held and a conference pass will not be given.

All shifts will include a training session prior to the conference – Location, time, and date to be announced.

What positions are you interested in working? Please rank your choices 1-3. We will do everything we can to honor your requests, but cannot guarantee that you will receive one of your top choices.

Registration – for attendees, speakers and/or exhibitors (morning shift starts at 6:00 am)

Hospitality Staff - Greet attendees, provide information and guidance, serve snacks and beverages on expo floor and/or assist speakers in Speaker Lounge

Security - Verify attendee access to educational tracks and speaking programs

Speaker Room Attendants - ensure speakers are in rooms before presentation, assist speakers and AV techs in setting up programs, assist attendees with finding seating as necessary

Greening Monitors - Assist West Coast Green in maximizing its sustainability goals by diverting as much waste from landfill as possible. Volunteers will ensure that attendees deposit their waste in the proper cans at the Resource Recovery Stations located throughout the event hall.

Floaters – Get a chance to volunteer in various sections of the conference and fill in the gaps where needed
