Presenting in 2008
A letter from West Coast Green's Professional Education Team:
Thank you for your interest in contributing to the West Coast Green 2008 program! Our faculty are unique in the dynamism they bring to sharing their technical knowledge, on-the-ground expertise, and visionary wisdom while prompting extraordinary action. Their knowledge sets range from building science and public policy to technology and innovation.
We are deeply invested in our faculty, who are our heroes, which means we dedicate an incredible amount of time to giving back to them. As a member of our faculty, we provide training sessions to further your skills in communicating your message and intentionally cross pollinate the best ideas on how to teach. We also organize private roundtables among peers and numerous networking events that form the West Coast Green Faculty into a collaborative family.
In 2007, we welcomed over 300 speaker faculty into the conference program! Our faculty provided more than 180 sessions and pre-conference workshops that reached over 10,000 people with tremendous impact.
In 2008, we will have fewer than 100 faculty positions – requiring us to be even more rigorous. Most of the 2008 sessions will be of either a "master speaker" scale, addressing hundreds of attendees, or play more of a facilitator role than a speaker role. Facilitators will develop, design, and host intimate roundtable discussions amongst industry thought leaders.
We look forward to receiving your presentation or session ideas and thank you in advance for your contribution!
Christi Graham, President & Founder
Mary Ann Gallagher, Conference Design Director
Karen Jackson, Program Director
Genevieve Logan, Program Coordinator
